Features

Moto-Stop is designed to fit most 2 and 4 stroke motors, 150-250 hp that incorporate the use of two trim rods (i.e. Yamaha, Honda or Mercury) etc. Shown are two styles of the Moto-Stop, Yamaha/Honda and Mercury.
1) Yamaha/Honda models fit a motor with an aproximate trim rod distance of (4 1/4") from center to center or (4 7/8") with larger hp 4 strokes and a trim rod diameter of (11/16 ths of an inch) (.700)
2) Mercury Models fit motors with an approximate trim rod distance of (4 7/8") center to center and a trim rod diameter of (5/8 ths of an inch) (.625).
Moto-Stop bodies are made of 6061 aluminum with bushings and pads of 95 durometer urethane. The assembly hardware is all stainless steel. These Materials make for a very strong, durable and quality product. A product we feel will last for many years and truly will be the last motor support you will ever buy.
As shown in the pictures each Moto-Stop unit comes with a heavy duty canvas bag which will prevent soil transfer and a pair of steering rod clips to prevent wind vaneing of the motor while in tow.
To use simply raise the motor, slide the Moto-Stop over the trim rods and lower the motor until it contacts, then snap on the clips.
